Masks & Covid Pass An Update:
Elsewhere is a multi purpose space and for that reason we don’t fit neatly into the new regulations which have been set out by government.
However as a venue under 500 person capacity things will mostly stay the same. Our stance has not changed in that we ask everyone to take a lateral flow test before attending an event and do not come out if you have any symptoms of Covid-19. At this time we will not be checking proof of vaccination or negative lateral flow test before entry to an event. The only caveat to that is if we are hosting an event in the basement venue which goes past 1am (as we are then classified as a ‘nightclub’) or if an artist has specifically requested stricter measures, for these events proof of vaccination or a negative lateral flow will be required, we will do our utmost to make sure this is communicated in advance.
We ask you to wear a face covering whilst in the venue apart from where impractical (i.e. when drinking or dancing). Wearing a face covering will limit the volume and travel distance of expiratory droplets dispersed when talking, breathing, and coughing and help to keep other audience members safe.
The ground floor and basement bar are exempt from any of these current restrictions as hospitality settings. You are not required to wear a face covering whilst in these areas and a covid pass will not need to be shown for entry.
Masks are required in the record store area at all times.
We know some of this seems counter intuitive but the best thing you can do to help each other and keep Elsewhere a safe is place is to Take A Test Regularly.
